: Ok, I'll try ...

: : Would someone please recap what the bloopers were? I know of the following:
: : 1) the famous blue cap/megaphone during the massacre;

: After the SECOND warrior strikes down a colonial at Massacre Valley the camera angle switches to a rear view of the column. Look at the bottom center/right of the screen.
:
: : 2) the extra man at the elk kill;

: As the elk runs through the forest, you'll see a reddish blur in the background amidst the foliage. This one is hard to catch ... run it in slow motion ...
:
: : 3) the tour buses during the abandoning of the fort by the English; and

: As the British evacuate Fort William Henry, and just as Munro utters the line, "The Fort is yours." look in the middle distance ... you'll see the silver/white bus(ses).

: : 4) the stuntman testing the canoe that goes over the falls.

: I don't know of this one ...

: : Are there others?

: The other prominent one would be the "moving" rock. As Hawkeye runs through a rock crevice, up on the Cliff Trail as he is chasing the Huron war party, he leans up against the "wall" ... obviously draped with a gray cloth ... it moves!

: Heard there's a diver visible somewhere ... never have found that. Then, there's the mysterious rifle that Hawkeye picks up on the Cliff Trail ... that one never disturbed me all that much. There are other "minor" ones, sometimes little more than viewer "dislike" that I wouldn't really consider bloopers. I think that covers the main ones.

: See our Mohican Musings Index. We have little pieces on your first 3 in there ... Actually, I believe a shot of the busses can be found in our DVD screen capture section

____________

Rich, I know I've tried to find that "diver" in the waterfall a couple of years ago (obviously had more time in those days!), on my VHS, and although there are some shadows which some may have felt was a diver, I think there's more to someones very active imagination than anything.

Diana, if you have the VHS of LOTM, you won't see the bus scene; and there's more than one VHS version, some have the red hat guy and some don't. (Mine doesn't) However, the DVD shows them all in all their glory; in great, clear detail....

I think all of the "minor" ones are the lack of the continuity person to be on the job that morning, or the editing used different peices of takes to paste together.
