Thank You Rich! It was amazing timing! I love it when this kind of synchronicity happens!

I loved seeing the picture of you and Elaine from many years ago and thank you for posting the articles. I have just printed them off and will read them during my afternoon rest. It would be incredible if our government gave these people back their land, just as the Canadians gave some of the land in the Northwest Territories back to the Inuit. It would be a great step in the healing process, for the wounds carried through the generations.

You are fortunate to have a gift from one of the Elder's, to keep as a blessing for this life.

Have a great rest of the day!

Ayesha

: Selo lives in New Mexico, last I heard, which was the end of last year. He still travels back & forth frequently.

: : : Good timing, Ayesha!

: : : That bit I posted yesterday regarding Selo Balck Crow, just happened to be culled out of an article dealing with the issues you raise! I'll post it here, in its entirety (3 parts).

: : : Somewhere in the archives, my guess would be in 1998, I recounted some of my adventures with Selo out on Pine Ridge the summer prior to this (that'd be 1987), if you're interested.

: : : PS - the little medicine wheel hoop in the photo now hangs in my car!
