Hi Theresa -

Good to hear from you. I'm interested in knowing you and Claude are sniffing out Colonial forts and events in your area -- that's so great! I'm curious to know what you find at Fort Toulouse. I know almost nothing about it and am curious about what it portrays of the time period. Alabama is so distant from upstate NY that I forget there were people there back then!! :>)))

And, I will pass on your message to Mike.

Best to you both,
Sarah

: Hi Sarah!

: Good to hear from you! I was thinking about what you said at the Gathering while I was waiting for this board to finish....it does take a while because of the massiveness of it, but I'm glad so much is here. I try to read a little every chance I get, but like you, I sometimes get lost. Even with that, I'm glad all of it is here. Like Aunt Bee said when Opie was struggling with history, "Well, there's more of it everyday." How profound!

: Again, good to hear from you. I'll report on Fort Toulouse when we return. I don't think Clabert has been there. We have been in touch with each other about that. I know he would like to go someday.

: Oh, and how is Mike? Tell him hello from Claude and me.
