Charleston Highland Games

For fans of all things Scottish and historic, especially those in the South Carolina vicinity:

Might I suggest the Charleston Highland Games, going on Sept. 15 at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, SC. A beautiful location for one of the nicest, smaller Games you're going to find. NOT the huge crowds and huge parades like Grandfather Mountain, but a nice one-day chance to see some Scottish heavy athletics, listen to good music and maybe learn a little. A plus: just a 15-minute drive from downtown Charleston,with all its history and beauty.
