Glad to hear your brother made it out, Elaine.

My brother works in the shadow of the twin towers, and has clients there.

He was in midtown when it happened, but wasn't sure if his office building, or co-workers were still there.

Some of my co-workers have a friend who works there. She called out after the hit, but hadn't been heard from again by the end of the day.

We could see the smoke and altered skyline from thirty miles away.
