You know, had we removed this Board back at the peak of its hey-day, let's say mid-'98, it would have been remembered as a smashing success. Wait a bit and take it down at a low point, maybe its not remembered quite so fondly.

People leave here all the time. When I decided to leave, and took the Board down at a period when it wasn't really up nor was it really down, I got the cold shoulder from a few who decided I could go to hell; the whole thing got twisted into something it wasn't.

So, it appears, because it's MP's Board, everyone can quit whenever they so choose, but if MP quits, they suck. Half of MP HAS quit ... so, maybe its me.

Maybe I'm no good at this. Maybe it's really all my fault. Good people come here all full of joy & happiness and then they leave sad & disillusioned ... or mad at me.

I get so tempted, too often, to give up.

Then there's this. Yesterday, a brouhaha surfaced here. Yesterday, Board accesses nearly tripled from the average of late.

Are there those running here just to see us fail? I believe so.

Are there those running here for cheap thrills? I believe so.

Pretty sick, if you ask me.

It's this simple; this place is supposed to be fun - and it was for a long time - but it takes work to keep it so. It takes committment from those who use it as well as those who run it. No committment? It fails. Lots of committment? It works and it's fun.

Which is it going to be? I can't decide the outcome alone ...

There's too much going on right now to be bogged down with this.
