Ah, hello, Seamus. So good to hear from you. Your post reminds me of how I miss those Chronicles. Are they to resume any time in the near future?

Weather Update: Alabama...still balmy, rainy, and we'll have some sort of thunderstorm today. Scott, I believe I prefer the COLD weather for Christmas and New Years...but then as soon as those are past, I'm ready for those bright yellow daffodils.

: Ah, Vita!

: T'is wonderful to hear from you!! No snow has come to stay here on the mountains of North Central Pennsylvania, indeed, it has been like Spring here. There has been one wet snow which lasted overnight and was gone when the sun arose the next morning. I am concerned that my apple trees may get confused, start to bud, and get frozen. The hunting has been good, with one large, fat doe taken so far, and Cousins Flags, Young Andrew Kuntz, the Artist, and Lt. Campbell, and perhaps another or two, are coming to the cabin for our annual hunt the day after the Lord's Birthday. It would be nice to have some laying snow by then...

: Cousin Malcolm and Davey and the 77th were encamped at Raystown last weekend and I had a chance to travel to visit them. They are well, and so are Many Flags, Three Tales and their wives, Magdalena Gutshall and TwoBottle, and Nancy, the Dark-haired Lass. Little Caleb is growing like a weed. Uncle Angus and Quasi are back from God-knows-where and are livening up things in and around Ft. Augusta. Col. Armstrong was at Raystown the weekend before the 77th with his Battalion, and is ready to continue improving the road to Ft. Pitt as soon as Spring arrives.

: The entire MacWilliam Clan sends its Holiday Greetings and wishes for a Happy and very prosperous New Year to Mohicanland and all Mohicanites everywhere!!!

: Pax Aye!!!

: Seamus

: (echoes of cheering erupt loudly from the rest of the clan, and the cry of "Hear, hear!!")can be heard quite clearly.
