Some of you might enjoy that more than others, I know -- I'm an Uncasite more than a DDLer, but I'm still pretty exited to know DDL had been there.

Oooh, Sarah, I do envy you. I'm primarily an Uncasite, but certainly a DDLer too. My husband and I saw the Bounty in Sydney Harbor, but did not get to go on board. We did go to Tahiti and the island of Moorea where the filming was actually done. It's absolutely gorgeous, and, as you said, it was cool to walk where DDL had walked. When I came home, I watched the movie several more times. I could enjoy, not only the four Oscar winners in the film, but my vacation over and over again.
We were up at our cabin this weekend. The powder snow was waist deep. The mountain snowmachiners loved it, but I'm a confirmed chicken trail rider. Today it was -10 degrees. Sigh... I could use a little of that island sunshine right now.
