Stan, me lad...why in the name of Uncle Quasi would you EVER WASH a breechclout???????????????????? Wadin' a deep stream on occassion ought to be enough, you know...and what fer kind of material did you use that would shrink, for Pete's sake???? IF you are lucky enough to come by a fine piece of wool and if...that is a huge IF...you are able to wear it next to your raw hide in comfort and peace, you need to PRE-SHRINK it....but never wash it and expect it stay the same size!! For ultimate comfort try brain tanned deerskin. I highly recommend it...and it will not shrink. Smoke it good and you will be the hit of wherever you are....trust me on this one! The girls love it!! Comfort, warmth, adaptability, strength, dependability and security are all easy with braintan.

(Need some bear grease or a good medicinal herb preparation for the...ahem...raw spots?)
