... "We Were Soldiers"? Hardly! The new Mel Gibson flick - and quite a variation it sounds like it may be on the typical [if there be one] Vietnam War movie - stars LOTM's, Madeleine Stowe. No leap necessary. Even without Stowe, it's very easy to link Mel, seeing as how he played in "The Bounty" with DDL long ago. Sam Elliot? That can be done also. I think.

So, with the groundwork out of the way, I shall ask, "Has anyone seen it yet?" And, if so, your thoughts ... It's unlikely I'll be seeing it any time soon, probably not till it airs on DirecTV or is released on DVD, but all I hear is pretty good. Even Bill O'Reilly gave it thumbs up! I'm curious, and anxious to see the film.
