A History?

Well, not yet, but it's in the works ... a supplement to the On-line Version of the Companion Guide.

Why? Well, why not? The obvious answer is, "Ever think that maybe nobody cares?" That is indeed possible, but history teaches me that no matter what we put up on this web site, somebody DOES care. Certainly, in light of our 5 years of existance - a virtual eternity on the Internet - with no plans to disappear any time soon - a history might be relevant. Then, that's what a large portion of this web site is about ... history. Too, it might just be interesting to some out there. Educational & enlightening even ... maybe. You be the judge.

Here's a brief outline of the trials & tribulations [or, is it trails & trivializations???] of this web site that will be expounded upon in some detail:

- first flamers: Energia & Francois
- cast & crew pour in to contribute
- red cellophane & high heels
- we hear from Mohican Tribal lawyer
- Interview-itis
- fighting off the BIA
- the GGGG/SYMT war
- Director's Cut Drives
- the Great Mohican Gatherings shape up
- pagejackers: the porn links
- Mercury in retrograde!
- Eric Schweig's masks
- fan club fiasco
- Mohican Colony Muses
- the Voodoo zingers
- saving the River Walk
- virtual community
- Taiwan marketplace
- curious notations: never has copywright infringement been an issue with either FOX or Forward Pass, even though both are well aware, and have been even before the web site was published, of our plans & activities
- the Director's Cut DVD
- "Mohicans Suck" hacking
- commandeering our cgi script to send out "penis enlargement" e-mails
- sitting with the FBI, at my computer, in my living room!
- earthquake in Mohicanland

If you remember more than half of these "events", you may have been here for too long! Not that that's a bad thing, of course! :) Anyway, it makes for some interesting material & will be documented, if for no other reason [and there ARE many other reasons!!!!] than it has been said that perhaps much of the turmoil we've experienced during our on-line lifespan is a figment of our imagination! Shame!
Written up correctly, though, this will be a perfect blend of mishap, mayhem, and merriment ... Mohicans-style. Hey, it gives me something to do!!!

While on the subject of history - and with the World's events, how can one NOT be history-oriented??????!! - here's the first of the first - 1997's "On the Trail ..." book purchasers, which, in many cases, translates into Mohicanland's first residents. See YOUR name here? :)
