It's rainy ... it's cold for this time of year ... and things, in my life, aren't what they once were. What's a guy to do when he's totally bored? He, or I, anyway, did a Yahoo search on "Mohican Gathering."

Did I find anything? Why sure. Found lots of posts & pages from this web site, of course. Found Susan's pics and Glen's page. Took me to Barby Holder, and more ...

Here's a little sampling of others:

Have been a fan for many years but really got excited when you did the Last Of The
Mohicans. Your Perthshire Amber is great I got a copy from your shop when I took my
wife Sheelagh up to your Hotel for our anniversary on April 10th this year. we have been
up a couple of time bur infortunately missed you. However Sheelagh is very grateful for
the signed photographs she got to take to the Mohican Gathering in North Carolina this
year on June 23rd. The rest of the members of the Gathering team are just a wee bit jelous
of the fact we can visit your place and listen to your music at first hand. we both realy
look forward to meeting you some time soon. Best regards George & Sheelagh Penman

From www.historypoint.org:

Cooper's novel was made into an Oscar-nominated 1992 motion picture, starring Daniel
Day-Lewis and Madeline Stowe. Enjoy it for its spectacular cinematography, if not for its
historical accuracy -- it is truly a beautiful film. And, of course, the library has it and its
stunning motion picture soundtrack!!

The 1992 motion picture has developed a cult following. Every summer its devotees
assemble in North Carolina to view it on the big screen, discuss its fine points, meet its
stars, and tour the locations where it was filmed. Check it out at The Great Mohican
Gathering, www.mohicanpress.com/2001_gathering.html
