: : For those of you attending our Gathering dinner at Spirits On The River on June 20th, this Friday, May 10th, is the LAST day to submit your menu choices (by email to me).  On that day I will be sending your choices to the restaurant.  This is being done as a courtesy to SOTR so they can order sufficient quantities of items and every Gather can have what he or she wises to eat that evening.  I will have a list of all those who submitted their choices at the restaurant that evening, so if you go to SOTR on the 20th with your mouth watering for rattlesnake and when your order is taken you find out that they have just run out of said reptile, having your name on that list will give you license to burn at the stake any of those who DID NOT pre-order!

: Reptiles ain't for me, Lady Ann ... nor amphibians, nor bugs ... in fact, nothing that RESEMBLES a bug ... which is why, I guess, I don't eat shrimp. So, I can add another category ... I don't eat anything that has a "skeleton" on the outside ... i.e. clams, lobster, and other large "bug"-like critters.

: That said, Spirits on the River has a WONDERFUL menu & my mouth salivates of the thought of my dinner sitting there before me waiting to be consumed. I ordered, among much else, buffalo, which I've previously eaten & loved!

: SO ... please, do as the Lady says & order the damn food already! And your T-Shirt, too ... Deadline for the dinner is May 10; for the T-Shirts May 15.
