: Wes Studi, with his incredible silent language in that arrogant/obscene command with his hand just before Alice jumped off the cliff is a scene that positively preys on my imagination.

: Gayle,
: First time I saw the film, I was haunted by the scene you describe.. It's what drew me back. Also, to the expression in Wes Studi's eyes after Alice steps off the cliff: An tiny instant of curiosity and then complete dismissal, as though she had never lived.

Pat,

The focus on the hand motions had my memory tied up for the moment, but when you reminded me of the expression in the eyes, the sudden recollection of it actually made my stomach churn - you're right, that was a powerful flash of acting. There were any number of small but terribly significant evidences of excellent professional talent throughout the movie, but we tend to focus on the scenes and expressions which are more obvious. I wonder how disappointing that is to actors and actresses who spend so much time developing their roles.
