: : : :I didn't see LOTM on TV this past week but I watched the video version instead. My tape kept rewinding to the love scene b/t Hawkeye & Cora behind the fort. (gee...I wonder why?....;-) 
: : : Anyway, this scene was so romantic yet sensual, I often wondered as I watched over & over (again & again & again & again.....), did Hawkeye & Cora become intimate with each other (I'm trying to have tact). They are embracing & kissing so passionately and the next scene, they're looking out peacefully over the countryside as if they're ready for a cigarette.
