: : Hi Sarah,

: : Although the GERONIMO movie might not be the one with Wes, it is still worth watching. I actually prefer it to the other version as it is more historically accurate.

: Thanks for that, Rebecca. Where are the differences? Educate me!

: Thank god for the new 8-hour video tapes. I've set the VCR from 8 pm to 4 am to get them all on one tape, without having to get up and change tapes in the middle of the night. Next, I'll just schedule a full day off to watch the tube. I haven't had a sick day in years.... I feel one coming on soon!

: Cheers,
: Sarah

TNT's version showed more of Geronimo's life, how he became who he was. It didn't show anything about the time after he left the reservation, the last fights, or when he turned himself in and was sent East, while the version with Wes Studi focused on that time and showed the events from the perspective of a young officer. I have to agree with Rebecca, I liked the TNT version better. And I was curious to see Ryan Black as young Geronimo. Overlooking the fact that he doesn't look Apache at all, I really like his acting, and his smile too.
I was fighting with our VCR for about an hour, had bought extra tapes just for that day, but finally realized that I can't tape from certain cable channels, not sure why. Bummer!
