Congratulations, Mohican Press! The Russell Means interview was terrific. Even more interesting than I was expecting. I think you guys did a first-rate job, and I really enjoyed your comments before & after the interview. It is apparent that, even though you don't agree with ALL of Mr. Means' comments, you respect his opinions and enjoyed being able to present them. The comments he made on the filming and on the bond between he, Eric Schweig and Daniel Day-Lewis were especially intriguing to me. Thanks for giving us this great addition to the site.
My input on the Gathering: It is, indeed, shaping up very nicely. But please, please folks, get your checks out soon if you want to reserve space in the bunkhouse...it is nearly half full after only one week. Those last bunks will go quickly. And even if you are planning to stay nearby, the sooner you register, the easier our jobs will be on the planning end. Appreciate it! And a hearty thank you to those who zipped their checks off so quickly! It makes us all feel good to know you are looking forward to this mountain adventure so much. Don't forget to reserve your movie seats with Rich & Elaine as soon as possible. And if you have any questions at all about the Gathering, please don't hesitate to email me.
