: Now, Jo...you know I was just funnin' about needing my earmuffs for 60 degree weather...actually, I LOVE cold weather & snow. I don't think I need it to be QUITE as cold as it is where Chris is, but I do love being in snow, and hiking in it, and all the good stuff that goes with it. (Don't much like trying to drive on icy roads, though...) It just seems there ought to be something in between Chris's Alaskan deepfreeze and my sweltering Florida suana! Hmmmmm...what about NORTH CAROLINA??? I could build me a cabin on a mountainside there and have nice hot summers and nice cold winters, lovely autumns with glorious leaves, and beautiful springs with dogwood and rhodedendrons! I'd do it tomorrow if someone could tell me how to get Mark out from under this PALM tree! Any suggestions?

________

Marcia,
Tell Mark gooseberry pie only is available north of the mason/dixon line....oh, my, my history doth escape me....I don't have any MA....does this exclude North Carolina???? Out here in California, history of the eastern seaboard is....hard won at best!
Corrections are graciously accepted!
But only if you like Marcia's gooseberry pie.

Jo
