Its been an eye-opener, alot of desperados [including a couple infamous ones], etc, in the family --- explains why I'm a wild-eyed rebel & renegade ;-) ....

I'm with Rich, its been a spell since I've seen Sam Elliot's film, but he is great in whatever he's in.
Did any of y'all see "Two For Texas" recently? They played a little free & loose with history [of course] but the San Jacinto battle was well done, and knowing some of the mounted players was a kick to see 'em, & I like Tom Skerrit's [spelling] portrayal of Sam Houston too [especially when he fires 'em up for the upcoming battle]...
I still think the final battle in Wayne's "Alamo" was terrific with its cast of thousands, gave a real sense of the hopeless odds they faced, especially when the Mexicans are pouring into the compound...
