: Congress.  It is a situation that has been bothering me for awhile now and I finally decided to see if I could do something about it. : celebrating Women's History Month, I can't help wonder why we don't
: celebrate American Indian/Alaska Native Month.  We hear lots of news
: about minorities, usually focused on Blacks, women, Hispanics and
: others, but never on American Indians/Alaska Natives.  I think it is
: time this oversight was remedied.  As representatives of a state that
: has a rich Native heritage, I would like to ask you to introduce
: legislation designating a month to celebrate American Indian/Alaska
: Native history.
