Well, Oliver Stone, I think, is a good film maker, so I would expect it to be a good film. What I would want is the definitive ... the SUPREME ... the MOST powerful ... version of the events. I want to cry; sit at the edge of my seat even though I know the outcome; I want to be thoroughly moved! I doubt we'd get all that. Please, someone tell me the rumor isn't true!

To answer your question, Pat, probably both. It would probably follow the facts, but there'll be certain parts, open to interpretation, that Oliver Stone will take out to left field somewhere ... resulting in fantasy.

I read, in the fall '98 issue of The Custer/Little Bighorn Advocate, an article by Linda Terrell entitled, "Is It Hollywood Or Is It History ... or, Will Oliver Stone Custer?". In it, she makes reference to a production of Michael Blake's, "Marching To Valhalla." Other than that, it's a very vague, almost hypothetical article.
