You are right as usual, Rich. Time to stop this but it is unfortunate for people to misunderstand each other so quickly.

I have been on a few Civil War boards and discussion of every minute detail of certain films was a hot topic. Everybody used to chuckle about certain unique circumstances some reenactors bring to the table. And I never met anyone who got up in arms over some lightweight criticism of these films until yesterday. What I wrote was supposed to be lighthearted and I still feel that I wrote nothing outrageous or provoking to anyone. Just some fun criticism of some movies I truly love. (Of course, I still truly believe the biggest fallacy I have ever seen in a movie are those overweight Rebs. :))

As Mr. T? I did not bring him into the conversation; but since he was brought into the discussion I felt it would lighten things up even more by reworking some of dialogue from his legendary performance(at least as it is considered among 20 something aged males) in Rocky III. I am quite surprised you guys took those quotes seriously!?!? I assumed (obviously incorrectly) that knowledge of Clubber Lang's dialogue was easy to recognize among movie buffs.

In other words: "Clubber, do you accept the challenge of Rocky Balboa?" "I reject the challenge! Cuz Balboa is no challenge! But I will enjoy beating up on him some more."

"Shut up, old man! I know you are the one who has been ducking me."- Clubber yelling at Mickey

"Hey woman! Hey woman! Why don't come here and get with a real man." - Clubber to Andrian which what provokes Rocky to fight. (Its amazing that this stuff really does provoke people. I guess some Hollywood screenwriter knew what would seem believeable to an audience and even work in reality.)

These are classic lines! And its all fun! I guess I will crawl back under my cyber rock, slip out the kitchen door, and learn to become a REAL man.
