Hi Rachel,

How exciting that you could be there during the opening ceremonies. It made the front page of our newspaper and was covered on the TV news. Perhaps you can answer a question for me. In the video I saw, Susan Aglukark was in a group singing. To her left was a woman who looked very much like Lucy Idlout. We heard Lucy sing in Inuvik last summer and she is wonderful. Do you know if she was at the opening ceremonies? She is supposed to be introducing a new CD. I've been watching but haven't seen anything yet. Perhaps it is available in Canada, but not in the US. Have you seen anything by her? For all those who haven't yet heard her, I recommend checking her out. We were very impressed.

Congratulations on your own homeland and government.
