Look here, Old Crone - I agree pleasant conversation shortens the trip, but if you sit facin' me in your end of the canoe, you are paddlin' east, whilst I'm paddlin' west, and we are goin' NO WHERE! Hows about you turn around and face front, and we'll just attend to movin' in the same di-rection for a while?
