My, my, Old Crone! That was a right interesting trip to the trading post. Coulda used a little less sneerin' from the trader when he looked at those scraggly turkey feathers and the pelt o' that rabbit ye done in when ye tripped over it and fell on it. Bout kilt meself laughin' when you told the trader iffn he didn't trade, ye'd put a spell on him and make him yer husband. Let's see now . . . how can we get this stuff back to the canoe? Two blankets, horn o' powder, dried venison, jug o' molasses, three wampum belts, sack o' flour, sack o' sugar, spare canoe paddle, chunk o' soap, box o' salt, fine tooth comb, new backpack. Must be some fine market back East for turkey feathers and rabbit fur.
