While this situation [and its deeper issues] need to be discussed at large, I feel that [at least] here we all need to agree to disagree, otherwise we'll just keep going around in circles on this one [gun control, etc]...

In closing though, I want to share an e-mail from a compatriot of mine in the SCV [Sons of Confederate Veterans] who made a good point about "National Policy" being made during heated emotional moments. Something to consider...

Gee, let's go a step further....let us ban propane, nails, pipes,
etc....how about butter knives and forks, too....or maybe we can put child locks on them. Further, let us wait until people are emotional and irrational and make very important national decisions while in that state. They don't call him "Slick Willy" for nothing.
