I'm only ABOUT to be reading it, Jo. With any luck at all, I can stay in the "about to be reading it" category a LOOOOOONG time! I need to be braced to slog my way through some of Cooper's dialog, in order to get to the parts of the story that I actually LIKE. (*me, ducking here, as Gayle, Elaine and Penny hurl bent twigs at my head!*) Maybe if I watch the movie again first, I'll be able to work up my courage to start on the book! Yeah, that's the ticket! Another 20 or 30 viewings ought to do it! "Oh, Hawwwwwwkeeeeeeeeye...here comes your Mighty Mohican Mama, you Sweet Patootie, you!!!"
