: If you haven't joined up yet, time is passing quickly! It's exactly 2 months to The '99 Gathering, considerably less till the May 25 cut-off date! (For Chimney Rock Park Packages Only!)

: We have heard, from the NC Forest Sevice, that any closing on the proposed sale of The River Walk property won't occur until August. So ... if that information is correct, our itinerary remains unchanged. We're looking into it & will keep you posted!

: We have an incredible surprise in store for everyone who attends, but we can't divulge it just yet. If all goes according to plan, maybe later this week we'll be in a position to spill the beans. No! It's not what you are probably thinking, so relax ... and don't let your imaginations get the best of you!

: Speaking of The River Walk (I digress ...) We added a picture album of the four waterfalls seen in LOTM at that vicinity. Browse on over and enjoy the sights!

: Eric Schweig, and we, thank you for the initial response to his new pendants offered for sale. Still no photo. Probably a couple of weeks down the road. He has some business, then it's back to carving where he's gotten behind on his masks (a couple of new orders: an Adoption & a Sandpiper), then it'll be on to the pendants ... Please be patient! If you browse the Eric Schweig: Actor & Artisan Pages, plus the Eric Schweig Gallery, you'll notice some new stuff ... a recent portrait, a new mask, a customer photo/reaction, and a gallery from the photographer Eric works with, Denis Poustka. The less than stellar image quality on that page is purposefully done - to avoid duplication - Denis offers these items for sale to museums, galleries & the public.

: In response to questions: Two speaking engagements on the horizon are NOT confirmed and are listed as tentative, according to Deidre Sam, Eric's agent. Thus, we have not added them to the Eric Schweig Appearances listings. If we hear otherwise, that will change.

: Also, there's a new book in the Bookstore (see link above), by archaeolgist Dr. David Starbuck, on the seige of Fort William Henry. This volume includes all the latest information from the recent on-site digs. At $15, or so, it's a steal!

: Need a good Spring Tonic? Visit the MohicanLand Apothecary Shoppe! Soon ... (we hope) ... more from Noel Manning & Mark Baker!

: Happy Trails!
