Dear Bee Still,

I tried doing one of your special dances around the yard to get this message to you, but I guess I looked pretty ridiculous circling round & round & flapping and buzzing...neighbors came from everywhere trying to calm me down & administer first aid. Some thought I was having a fit, others were sure I'd been stung by a wasp. I never DID make them understand that I was just trying to reach YOU, Sweet Bee!

Anyway, I've resorted to the Whooping Crane Courier Service (Motto: When you hear us whoop, it's on the stoop!) once again, and trust that my message will reach you safely.

And now for the GOOD news: We have a very special visitor coming to Mohicanland in two and a half weeks! You, Dear Bee Still My Heart, will be ever so excited! Talk about palpitations and swoons! I don't want to give away any secrets, but I have it on good authority that this secret visitor is your very favorite hero in all of the colonies! You simply MUST come by my DownHome Kitchen REAL soon, so we can make plans for entertaining our honored guest! And I respectfully request that you bring the some of your very best clover honey for the fresh buttermilk biscuits I plan to bake for the occasion! And remember to tell all of your hivemates that they must be on hand for the festivities, as well! Remember...
