: : : : : Hi, I am a college student who has to do a research paper on Natty Bumppo, a character that is used by James Fenimore Cooper in "The Last of The Mohican's" and " The Pioneer's". Can you help me find some information on Natty Bumppo, please I am pretty desperate.

: : : : Dear Matt,
: : : : I have attempted to give you a link below, although not being the least capable at these things, all I can do is hope it works. Natty Bumppo is my favorite character, and has been the object of a lot of thought and research, so if you want to ask questions or discuss him by E-mail, I would be more than pleased to exchange information on him. However, a number of people on the Board are interested in the Cooper characters, too, and since we seldom get into the Cooper characters on the Board, they might find it enjoyable to add their ideas and views. Glad you came here to Mohicanland to do your research! Welcome!

: Hi Matt,
: Hope you get your paper done on Mr. Bumppo without falling asleep...(just joking!)
: For anyone out there who hasn't read Gayle's timeline...its GREAT, even for those of us not-as-enamored with Mr. Cooper's writing as some seem to be. Gayle's timeline is really a great piece of work...and a very interesting read.
I really needed that to brighten up an otherwise gerstunk morning. Thanks and thanks again.
