: : While in Las Vegas this weekend for a Graduation ceremony, we saw the show "Tournament of the Kings" at the Excaliber -- the live jousting tournament. Lots of long-haired knights on beautiful horses, and I'm happy to say, an emphasis on the *male* physique as opposed to the *female* that one would expect in Vegas (I was prepared for a rockette routine with damsels in overflowing bodices...). A nice surprise to hear the LOTM soundtrack playing at the end though! Of course, our Hawkeye and Uncas didn't need horses to draw our attention ("too easy to track...").

: : Great news about Eric attending the Gathering! Incredible job by Rich and Elaine -- well-done!!! Though I can't attend, I think I'll fire off a check for another raffle ticket...can I send you my cell phone and request *personal* notification from the VOICE himself???? Wouldn't that be something? Let's see dinner time in the east, oh darn, that's earlier in the west! I can imagine, can't I?? The phone wakes me from my LOTM dreams...a deep voice says my name..."Janine, it's Eric -- you've won my mask!"
