: Well, there I was in a hiking store asking about local hiking clubs, because I thought I might like to join one to get out and about more here in lower and upstate NY, to have people to hike with.  So the guy in the store hands me a pamphlet on a local chapter of a national club, and guess what?  It's the MOHICAN chapter.  

: I think I HAVE to join, just out of principle!!  ...it's one more way to Mohicanize my life.
