Green Knob could be interesting... Sigh, not this year...

Hi, Thomas & might interest you to note that my husband and I did renew our wedding vows in the vicinity of Chimney Rock. We clambered way out into the middle of the river underneath the chimney and onto a great big ol' rock, with water just rushing by on every side. And there, in the peaceful serenity of that special place, we exhanged our wedding rings again, and made the following romantic and heartfelt promises to each other:

*ahem...Mark: I promise to listen to you and be more attentive.
Me: Then I promise to quit being such a B**** and stay off your case.

And with that, we vowed to try it again for another 11 (at the time) years! ;o) Sentimental, eh? hehe

It WAS a special time for us, though, and a marriage or real vow renewal in those mountains would be lovely. Maybe someday...
