Dear Pilgrim Penny,

Alas, would that it were so! Though I am responsible for the occasional hoot, Ann Owl and I are just good friends! As for my own lineage, well, it's a bit tricky to ascertain. There's some as think I'm a Great Gorbley Hummingbird, but I only hum, cause I don't know the words! Others have called me a Bug-eyed Nighthawk, but that's just because of the numpty look I get from surfing the net until the wee small hours of the morning. Then there are those who think I'm a Flammulated Phalarope...but that CAN'T be right...it's just too darn hard to say! So, I reckon we'll just have to make do with what my grandmother always used to say about me..."You know," said she, "you're just purely a bird!"
