Hi Everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted in a bit, but our "new" computer crashed. Fortunately we did not lose our most precious files, but we did lose all of our bookmarked URLs. It is a good thing I had the Mohican address memorized.

I am so excited to hear that there may be a Directors Cut of LOTM released. As Caitlin says, the present version seems to go by in 5 minutes. I remember the first time I saw it on the big screen, I didn't want it to end. It seemed like it should go on and on! Forever! What a great thing to look forward to. Hopefully we can have it for the gathering next year!

I hate to admit it, but I am one of the one's who also buys the National Enquirer from time to time. I know that it is not very "intelligently" written, but sometimes just reading the "gossip" is good fun and a great escape. Where else could you read about DDL taking up shoe-making in Italia. He must be having a great time! He is lucky he has the leisure to explore the craft. There was also a GOOD article in the same issue on breast health that was intelligently written and well researched. Maybe, just maybe, the Enquirer is coming "UP" in the world.

SARA M, thank you so much for sharing your "great adventcha" with us. It sounds like it was fantastic! I wish I could have been with you! I wonder if they ever do any events like that out here on the West Coast.

MISS MARCIA, what fun!!! The Chicken Dance. That was delightful! Like Adrienne, I wonder who won????? How did you import a picture to the board?

RICH, thanks so much for the tip for tonight's show on CAPTIVES. As you already know, my favorite "Captive" story is about Cynthia Ann Parker who was captured by the Commanches at the age of nine and then re-captured back into her "white" family as an adult with 3 children. It is such a sad story. Her son Quannah was one of the last warriors to give in during the Indian Wars. I had a great URL on the story, but unfortunately it got lost with this "computer crash". As soon as I have time, I will try to find it and post the URL.

REBECCA, was the movie "SILENCE" a Canadian film? Have you seen it? If it was good and is on video, I would like to track it down.

To all of the "new ones" who have stumbled across this web site, I would like to extend a warm WELCOME. I hope you will all stay with us a while and post often and lurk NOT.

I hope everyone is having a great day.

All the best,

Ayesha
