! BTW, are you a Native American, I noticed under your name you wrote "Southern Cherokee Nation", do you belong to that tribe?

>Siyo Adrienne ---

yes, I am a mixed-blood member of the Southern Cherokee Nation (historically known as either the Ridge-Watie faction or Peace Party). I am also a recently appointed council member for the NW District.

Prior to & after the War Between The States, there were four major bands (or directions) of the splintered Cherokee Nation,
the West (CNO - Cherokee Nation Oklahoma)/ the East (Eastern band - NC) / the North (Keetoowah Society - traditionalists)) / & South (SCN- mixed bloods).

During the WTBS, Confederate Cherokee general, Stand Watie, led a mixed force of Indians (including members of the 5 Civilized Tribes) but the SCN made up the bulk of his force.

After the WTBS, friction continued & we went underground.
Since the end of the 1980's we have come back "above-ground".
