: Are there any plans for future Leathersocking films? I beleive they could all be made by a talented filmaker and given today's interest in reenacting make money if done well.

I bought what appears to be a pilot for a TV series called "Hawkeye", cpoyright 1994. Probably just some TV producer trying to make money off the greatest film of all time! It stars Lee Horsley as Hawkeye, Lynda Carter (who my wife had to point out to me as Wonder Woman) as a female lead named Elizabeth, and Rodney A. Grant as Chingachcook. The costumes were highly inferior, the acting was reminiscent of today's "Hercules" series (i.e. not good), and this episode, entitled "the Siege," was based on the French invention of a 32-pound cannon! Naturally I was glad that I didn't pay any more that $1.50 for the tape, but the idea for a LOTM sequel or series, or mini-series wouldn't be too bad, IF the right people were involved, such as they were in "Legends of the Old Northwest."

Enough Rambling,
Parker
