An Invite!

Dear Mohicanland Ladies (and I use the term loosely!)

Summer is upon us in all her glory, and Miss Marcia just picked a peck of unpickled lemons! Can fresh lemonade be far behind? In celebration of my newly harvested watermelons and peaches, I am giving an afternoon tea to be served on my verandah. Y'all ladies do join me. Attire is casual...it's far too warm to be formal. Just your sweetest little summer frocks, please, and no more than two of those hot ol' petticoats!

I certainly hope to have a wonderful visit & catch up on all the latest gossip...I mean, NEWS...from around town. Sassy has promised to fly by as evening draws nigh with some of her special hot-weather toddies...a little recipe she picked up from down south that she refers to as Margaritas...so this party could go on until the wee hours.

I'm especially looking forward to a visit from She-Who-Tracks, who has been out of touch for FAR too long! And Mme. Adrienne, Miss Katie, Goody Tewshoes, Old Crone...don't y'all be strangers, either! I simply cannot WAIT! What an adventcha!!
