: I was wondering if anyone here might be able to point me in the direction of some sources on Native American women in the F&I War..I'm looking specifically for info on the women of the tribes involved, such as the Iroquois and Mohawk. Anything you can think of would be greatly appreciated, including more general information..

: One more thing, not directly related..I am also interested in current Native American artists. Does anyone know where I might find some good links to artists who specialize in paintings, again, especially of the role of Native American women?

: Thank you so much for your help..This is a wonderful site, very informative and well done. Keep up the great work!

Rachel,

I would suggest you try to obtain a copy of the book "The Canadian Iroquois and the Seven Years' War" by D. Peter MacLeod. You could probably get it through interlibrary loan, however, if you would like to purchase a copy of your own it is available at Fort Ticonderoga for sale. They can be reached at Fort Ticonderoga, Fort Road, Box 390, Ticonderoga, NY 12883 or (518) 585-2821.
