LOTM DIRECTOR's CUT!

Ring! Ring! Ring! Here ye! Hear ye! (Where's a good Towne Crier when you need one???!!!)

I can now say, with FULL confidence, that there IS a Director's Cut release of "The Last of the Mohicans" on the way! It is true! For sure!

Just got off the phone with Michael Mann's production company, Forward Pass. He just finished work on it this past weekend. There ARE ... DEFINITELY ... added scenes. Which ones? Don't know. It is planned only for DVD at this time. His new film, "The Insider," is scheduled to be released November 5, 1999. The plan is for the LOTM DC to be released BEFORE then. Looks like our previous information was correct. Thanks, Georgina!

Whoopie! I guess we, who wrote our letters, played at least a small part in all this, so ... Congratulations ALL!

So, of course, we asked about an interview (again!) ... MM is out of the country, right now, but the person we spoke with thought that with the DVD release, this might be a good time. Sooooo ... cross your fingers & other body parts, hold your breaths, and .... maybe? Magic ... one more time?
