Congratulations Rich and Elaine on the award!!!!!!!! You and your website deserve it.

Thanks for the update on happenings in Mohicanland. And thanks for the welcome back. Shucks. *digging toe in dirt and looking shy*

I remember when I first stumbled across the site. Pretty much composed of a promotion of your book on sites involving LOTM,
several pages of informational stuff, some good background on two soldiers plus Mark Baker, and a wild and crazy WWWBoard where a buncha zany, intelligent, kookie, informative, loonie, caring, scholarly, funny visitors were posting. It has grown and expanded some since then!!!!!! It has taken a lot of work and a lot of sweat and a lot of (sometimes I am sure) tears and frustration....but you're site deserves the award just presented, and almost any visitor can find something of interest or get help in any topic imaginable related to living history, LOTM, colonial history, literature, and on and on. Not to mention your General Store continues to grow and add new items of unique interest which likely cannot be gotten ANYWHERE else.

I musta had a serious brain fart or something a year ago. *slapping self upside his noggin*. The good thing is, I came again to my senses and am enjoying being around the board, you guys (Rich and Elaine) and some old (now don't get up in arms girls - not speaking geriatrically here....at least not THIS time!) friends and acquaintences.

Some new people have come along who add a great deal of value to postings about their doings and knowlege....Champ for one. Many new faces joining the crowd I was familiar with. All adding interest and value to the site.

I am happy to be a small part of the site with Killdeer. It had been a plan over a year ago to do this, and I am happy it has come to pass.
