Maryland, Massachusetts, & Michigan rank high (3 M's ... hmmmm ... one short!) Tennessee, Virginia,New Jersey & our southern neighbor, South Carolina, also pull in substantial percentages! Basically, then, the whole eastern seaboard & the Old Northwest, plus California & Texas, form our core base, it would appear. If I remember correctly, that was pretty much the same the last time I did this. So, I guess, more or less, that's accurate. Who cares? I don't know! Of course, all the OTHER states do form a large percentage (Leaders? ... Colorado & Kentucky). The same for the foreign contingent (England, Canada, The Netherlands, Japan, Australia, Sweden & Scotland the leaders here ... honorable mention: Brazil, Italy & Switzerland).

: As for other stats, here's some stuff garnered from our still running polls (have YOU voted???):

: #1: Wes Studi (40%) & Eric Schweig (37%) have long been neck & neck as your choice for best interviews. Favorite PERSONALITIES or INTERVIEWS, I'm not sure. My favorite, is the Maurice Roeves.

: #2: The Musings Section (40%) maintains a big lead over the Interactive (19%) & Eric Schweig (19%) sections of the Site as your favorite places to visit here. The History (8%) & Script (7%) also gathered significant percentages. I'd vote for the Musings, as well.

: #3: Best performance? Studi (52%) blows everyone away. I agree. DDL (27%), Madeleine Stowe (8%), and Jodhi May & Schweig (4% each) also rank.

: #4: Favorite theme/scene? The Cliffs/Closing ranks #1 (I agree) with 37%. Throw in the Huron Village (5%) and the end of the film is CLEARLY the climax! Neck-and-neck are the Cora/Hawkeye (20%) & Alice/Uncas (18%) romance themes ... Wonder if that will change any AFTER the Director's Cut is released? Then, the Opening/Elk Hunt (9%) & the Battle segments (6%) ...

: #5: How'd you find us? Major Search Engines (61%) is CLEARLY the way to go! Links from other sites (20%) help considerably. I'm surprised at how many just bump into us in the night while surfing (9%)!

: What's new? FINALLY, we have finished transcribing the Wes Studi Interview. The last segment is heavily edited, as we deterioted into a lot of off-the-record chit chat. Sorry for the LONG delay! Kihew, who has a new size Dream Catcher, will have her Dream Catcher image, from this Site, included in a school textbook. That was mentioned before, but we are really happy for her! Had to mention it again in the update! Those who are following "Thankful Daniels" ... it's updated. We updated The Gathering 2000 Page ... overwhelming approval of the Biltmore Estate plans, by the way. Thanks to everyone who responded to us when we sought input. A couple mentioned the desire to "brown bag" lunch to minimize costs ... we're working on that as an option. In the Trading Post, we added a Trading Post Inventory so that you can see, at a glance, exactly what is offered for sale. Hope it helps. We'll link to it in more places soon.

: Speaking of input ... We would LOVE some on the midi files we added to 4 pages, composed by my brother, Ronnie. Has anyone HEARD them? They can be found on the Gathering (1999 & 2000) Pages, MohicansLand Page, & The Mark Baker Pages.

: Expect a Board Archive soon ... other new things in various stages of development.

: Welcome back, Towne Crier! Sorely missed you! Glad Clabert is doing well!
