: Hey Pat,

: I was referring, in this instance, to MP's remark about Studi being interested in history in the last part of the interview. He said he was but didn't go further. It seemed, it may be my reading, that on many of the other topics that were discussed, he sometimes had to be prompted to go further. I really didn't expect him to be loquacious, nor do I mean to imply that he wasn't a good interview. Just wished we could have had more.

Hi Victoria!

Absolutely it's a good thing ... I wish that we were able to prompt more such discussion through our work, but alas ...

Anyway, in regard to that one question/answer, Wes was getting very tired of talking by that point. We had him on the phone for a long time. We had to let some stuff go.

As in any interview, there are always questions we wished we had asked, or developed further with more follow-up ... sometimes, right after it's over we say, "Dang! I wish I'd asked THAT!" An interview would NEVER end, though. As it is, all the interviews are actually longer, but a lot of stuff is said off the record & not meant for posting. (That does not apply to your specific query ... the history thing ... just generally.)

I think his awareness, and interest, in history comes through in several places in the interview.

The remarkable thing is that these 5 actors we've had the pleasure of speaking with have so freely given of their time!

So ... what else? Happy to talk about it!
