Victoria,

Thanks for bringing this to the board for discussion. This is a good time to get into how we go about an interview & what we hope to achieve.

We work with an outline of questions & possible follow up questions (dependent upon the answer) based upon a bit of research and what we know of the person. Background, career, LOTM experiences & anecdotes, current doings & future projects/goals, issues that seem to be important to that particular person, & questions passed along from all of you. We include as many questions as we can that we think people would ask themselves if given the opportunity.

We try to develop further discussion on relevant events that (from our point of view) are somehow significant or related to the LOTM role or are in themselves interesting points. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we don't.

What we've tried hard not to do (& I think we've gotten better as we've gone along) is to interject our own thoughts and/or opinions too much ... you know, leading questions.

In this case, as Rich said, Wes was tired & he didn't elaborate in his later replies as much as he had earlier.

Yes, there were a few times we had hoped to take it further. All in all, we were happy. Our *major* points/questions were covered & he offered some great insight on various things.

What were your overall impressions of Wes Studi?
He seems very concerned with being true to an historic person whom he might be portraying - for better or worse. His comments regarding Geronimo were pretty revealing, I thought. Any opinions????????
