: : And why shouldn't he play a gay man in a film?  Daniel Day-Lewis did, very believably, and it didn't hurt him at all.  He's (Eric) an actor, and actors play all kinds of parts.  I'm curious to see if he can handle the challenge, and I'm curious to see what kind of story line is being written.
