: : I too love fall. Always have. I love the changing colors of the leaves, the chill in the wind, the smell of leaves on the ground, how the sun casts a particular glow from its place in the sky.

: And don't forget...PUMPKINS!! PUMPKINS, PUMPKINS, PUMPKINS!! Great heaps of brilliant orange PUMPKINS! I LOVE pumpkins! I love to see them piled by the roadside, and heaped on wagons, and on front porches. I love to EAT pumpkins, in stew and with pot roast, and in cinnamon-laced pies!! Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm!! Pumpkins!!! The best thing about fall is........................
: PUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMPKINS!!!

: MMMM

Gee Marcia.....so would it be fair to say you like pumpkins?

Agree. Wholeheartedly as Betty could tell you! I love pumpkins.
Those wonderful orange globes all over the place in fall. I love carving them and sticking my head inside and smelling them (okay I'm weird, but it is a smell that has always reminded me of Halloween, and October, and fall, and tricks or treats, and so on. I love seeing them in stores, and piled up, and on doorsteps and in windows.

Have you ever had pumpkin soup in a pumpkin used as a soup tureen? How about baked with cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar and butter?
