: : : : Good morning Bill and Happy October! It is indeed becoming autumnal here. A perfect clear crisp day. I love Octobers!
: : : : Cheers,

: : : Hi, Sarah! I, too, love the fall. It is my favorite time of year, without a doubt. We have fall down here in Florida, too...it's October 23rd...on the 24th, back to summer. We have winter on December 16, then...back to summer. Spring blows in around March 3...then...you guessed it!...back to summer. *sigh* Thank goodness I'm heading up to the mountains in two weeks to see a REAL fall! I simply cannot WAIT! What an adventcha!
: : : MMMM
: : MMMMarcia - where in the mountains are you going? I love the mountains and wish I could go more often. I hope you see lots of colors. Its no wonder Indians could read the changing times by trees and wind. Sounds great to me. ENJOY
: I too love fall. Always have. I love the changing colors of the leaves, the chill in the wind, the smell of leaves on the ground, how the sun casts a particular glow from its place in the sky.
: Halloween is one of my all time favorite holidays.
: For that matter, I love spring, and summer too. About the only thing I dont like is those dark, cold days after new year until
: spring returns. Brrrrr. Ugh.

I think those winter days can easily be my favourites -- when it snows. I'm crazy about snow. Of course, I don't get hardly any here in this part of NY, and the three times it snowed last winter I was overseas! WHAHHH!!
The parts I don't like are when it turns the corners -- just between summer and autumn when nothings blooming because it's too hot, just between autumn and winter when the leaves are gone but it's not snowing at all... etc etc. The truth is, those are when I have the hardest time finding the right clothes wear and I HATE THAT! heehee
