Greetings Dana and all!
We just got back from the day so it's really late and I'm really tired, but thought I would quickly say hello.

Yes, the gray spot was not running into Dana, but my goodness there were literally thousands of people there. It really was a "needle-in-a-haystack" scenario!

We arrived shortly after 12:30pm and stayed until closing ceremonies. Tons of traders, etc. Great food (sauerkraut stew?), great outfits...great HATS! Saw the haircut that Sarah had mentioned in an earlier post to Silver Wolf. And yes, I did see a loincloth or two. Looked great on some, alas others with their little white SAGGY butts probably could have worn pants...*hint*!
Thoroughly LOVED the music. They have a tradition were all the drum corps get together and form one huge group and play the songs. The best was "Hell on the Wabash"? I think thats the name. Jeff said they played it in the Gettysburg movie.
Despite the chilly weather and not running into any fellow Mohicanlanders, the day was wonderful! As soon as I get my film developed, I'll put it up on the Mojave Muleskinners website.

have a great evening...
caitlin and jeff.
