: : To answer Dana's question of going to the schools it is fun but the real people that need to be educated are alot of adults. They dont know the full story behind the Native Americans and they are real quick to become judge and jury and hang you right away. Over the weekend is a real good example. The only reason I go to the events is to try and let people know how the indians live from day to day. Alot of problem comes from some DAR members in our area. I'm saying some not all. But as for funny things that happen. I had my tomahawk block set up and the kids were trying throw the 'hawk. Most did ok. One little girl let go of the 'hawk way to late and it stuck in the ground about a half inch away from my toes. So I'm a little scared about letting small kids throw the 'hawk. They are weapons and very deadly weapons in the right hands. I could talk all day on the daily life of the eastern wooodland indians. They are some real good books on this. : Sorry to hear that people give you a hard time, Silver Wolf.  I'll be the first to admit my ignorance when it comes to the American Indian.  Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions.
