I found this post in another forum:

"I remember a scene with Day-Lewis and M. Stowe
together in a cabin surrounded by hostile indians, day Lewis
faked stowes death, burried her, lose the Indians and
later came back, I remember seen this in the theater in
Germany, but not on any video release."
